Ambitions

When it was soccer season, S5 kept saying he wants to be a soccer player when he grows up.

Now, we've been doing painting at Homeschool Group Art, so he's been saying he wants to be an artist when he grows up.

And he wanted to learn how to knit the other day. So I casted on 10 stitches, and did the first row before handing over to him to craft. He eventually did about 3 rows of garter stitch. His tension is very loose. It's funny how it felt weird to see him wind the yarn around the needle using his left hand which is the opposite way to what I do and how I show him. BUt it worked for him, so I refrained from demanding, "this is how you do it, hon."
