Mondays

Unlike The Carpenters, Mondays don't get me down.

We try to stay at home on Mondays, and to institute a self-imposed car free day. 

Everyone at the table doing craft - boys colouring and drawing, and I finally finished my last piece of knitted square last night so I started sewing the squares up for baby's blankie.

Still to perfect the art of piping on the cross - but I am no perfectionist :-)

(The breadmaker has been neglected of late and I discovered that unopened pack of High Grade Flour in the cupboard has a best before date of 29 April 2009. So guess what I ought to be doing a lot of this month?)

Easy peasy Roast Chicken dinner with gravy and all. Worthy of a pic as, due to a combination of my avoidance of handling raw chicken meat where possible, and the high cost of free range chook,  I haven't made this meal in a long long time.
