Another Ordinary Wednesday

One of my aspirations: To be up, showered and spent time in God's presence before the children wakes up.

Still working on that.
(Anyone who knows me well knows that I am a night owl and how much I love sleeping in.)

In the meantime, the boys are my morning "wake up!" alarm call.

Today, they were happy to leave me in peace and quiet. When I finally emerged from the bedroom, there they were doing their art work. Long may this interest continue!

And look at them, what a superb collaboration in this picture colour-in.

Can you see S5's orange people?

And a short trip to the Library today to return the last lot of books borrowed. Of course, we couldn't not borrow books while we were there. Within a minute of being there, the boys have picked out 8 picture books. With titles like Skippyjon Jones an the Big Bones by Judy Schachner and Pancakes for Findus by Sven Nordqvist, I have to say these boys have a knack of picking books that are actually quite good read-alouds.

And an unexpected treat tonight to be read to by Granddad
