If you have never googled "inspirational quotes on creativity", you should. It encourages the soul. Take this quote for example:

"It takes a lot of time to be a genius, you have to sit around so much doing nothing, really doing nothing." - Gertrude Stein.

See, now there's not only guilt free, but also no excuse not to, sit around doing nothing. Ms Stein, wiki tells me, was a catalyst in the development of modern art and literature, and the author of the quote: "Rose is a rose is a rose is a rose." (Rose, this one is for you!)

Or what about this from Albert Einstein:

"The secret to creativity is knowing how to hide your sources."

Or this by Nietzsche:

"You need chaos in your soul to give birth to a dancing star."

Ok, that was me chasing down a rabbit trail. Now back on track to what I came to blog about- some artistic work here this week.

I went out tonight without J-zero to a stampin' up workshop and made these. (I especially love the glitter that is on the tree - can you see it?)

I think I have a new addiction, so watch out friends - you will be required invited to come to a stampin up workshop I shall host in the new year :-)
