They're Not Procrastinators

It was 5pm and I realised I haven't taken any photos to blog about today. Oh well.

Then the boys saved the day.

See that corner unit there? We inherited that from Nana some time late last year and its designated place was in a corner upstairs. However that space had clutter so we had it down here right in the hallway temporarily. It has been a long "temporarily". S5 wanted to put his new board game (belated birthday pressie) which he got yesterday in there as that's the designated place to keep board/card games, but there was no room. I explained I couldn't tidy that unit right at that moment because I was getting dinner ready. 

"I can sort the unit out, Mum."

Now, why didn't I think of that?

Bless him, the unit is now upstairs in its rightful place :-)

And looked what they found stashed in a plastic bag somewhere in the unit?

Chalk is such a great treasure to find when you're busy trying to get dinner ready and can do without little ones hounding at you about what they can eat because they are SO hungry.

So they got some writing (or "drawing", as N3 calls it) practice done today ;-)

See the shark that N3 drew? (Well I think the smaller picture pointed to by his wee finger looks more like a shark than the big one, but he insisted that was a long neck dinosaur with a bump on its head. Which, by the way, is - if you imagine looking at it upside down from his point of view!)
