It was actually a beautiful autumn's day today yet we were somehow housebound.
Until I spotted J out the window while watching Lion King (again!) with the boys.
Love it when peeps spontaneously visit and we get to spend some wonderful time, make spontaneous decisions and share lovely memories.
Off we go - the nine of us - to a park with takeaways for a picnic dinner.
(We miss you, J's other half, J, and the two teenage boys.)
Having too much fun (that's my excuse anyway) that I forgot to use the camera when it was lighter. At least I remembered to take some pictures, assisted by the lovely S12.
J and R10 - who incidentally I admire so much for she is wonderfully filled with high self-esteem yet with such a humility that only she can get away with comments like this one:
"This picture looks good because I am in it!"
Swings are always a favourite at the playground.
We learned a new song "Shake My Sillies Out" at the local Library's Storytime session earlier this week - so here we are doing just that before heading home to bed.
