One, Two, Three, Four, Five
Today I was outnumbered five to one.
N3 captured friends' attention with an encyclopaedia book about Birds.
Expect the unexpected with mixed aged socialisation: here the 7 year old, 5 year old and 3 year old were having a great water play time...
and where were the 9-year-old-in-5-sleeps and the other 3 year old? Upstairs, "talking and hanging out." How cute is that - bless.
Afternoon tea time - fluffy and Girl Guide Minis (ie chocolate coated!). Note by this time the forces are a bit more balanced with arrival of friend Mrs H and her daughter.
No pic of this one but I thought I did well to also manage to make a belated birthday carrot cake for friend visiting after dinner tonight. Slight blunder was at the moment of making the cream cheese icing when I realised I didn't have any lemons, but the randomness of it all - said friend just happened to have a lime in her bag so I used it as a substitute!
