Chinese New Year's Eve

Traditionally, families gather together on the Eve to have a big traditional Chinese dinner. Uncle P surpassed himself once again with the feast he laid out. Thanks Uncle P and Aunty J.

Red packets - "Ang Pow" - the boys are fast learning that these means money, or as N3 asked me later in the night, "Where are my dollars?"

Gong Xi Fa Cai (the New Year's wishes in Mandarin)
Kung Hey Fatt Choy (in Cantonese)
Keong Hee What Chai (in Hokkien)

N3 enjoying a dip in our "pool".

Looked so inviting I had to join in too.

More sword use as a fly swat.

Just because I can, the profiles of these boys are almost identical eh?
