Cooling Down

I had forgotten about this wonderful and free (!) place until last night and so this morning when it looked like the sun would win over the threatening clouds, the children and I hopped into the car on impulse.

A pool,
with sprinklers,

a skateboard ramp even (and when you don't skateboard, you do the next best thing - run up the sides and then slide down - never mind wearing holes in your pants in doing so, seriously, who thinks of that when you're having fun.)
A playground, with sea-saw no less,

(there are no rules on the playground - you can go backwards,
or over the top),

and a flying fox of course!
And if you're scared of it, nothing is to stop you from running up and down on two feet instead

until you got brave and decide to have not one but two go's.

It is wonderful too that fun like this can be experienced with friends that happened to be there on this same day you do things on the impulse.

Bless ye baby who just napped away in the sling so everyone can enjoy the time in an unhurried way - 4 hours well spent indeed.
