Labour Day

We awoke some time after 8am to sunshine and blue sky and I immediately remembered it's Labour Day - traditionally vege planting day. So I was told.

Well, we had no seedlings to plant, no soil to plant in, and only one of three boxes ready to go. This was gonna be a labourious day.

Picasso and Monet

(didn't realise this until I uploaded this picture onto the computer - check out those waves painted by N3!!! Obviously wasn't intended as none of us noticed that then, and now the finished painting is quite different.)

S4 creating orange paint

No pics of Peps' hardwork, nor mine working the old doesn't-get-enough-sun vege patch round the back though. Pics to come by next weekend. Hopefully.

There were plenty of other play today including:

S4: Mummy, come to my house, it's my birthday. I have made you dinner. Ooooh, hmmm, you will like your dinner, I know you will.

Apparently, we needed more leaves salad.

And of course, the birthday cake to finish off.
